I’m a copywriter, graphic designer, & strategist.
I believe that good communication and design are rooted in empathy.
When I write, design, and strategize, I think critically to understand audiences’ motivations and perspectives. I listen deeply, research thoroughly, and consider the context, history, and intersectionality behind every story. I center the lived experiences of those I’m advocating for and take time to understand those I’m trying to reach.
With an intuitive sense for human connection and motivation and a mastery of language and design, I help organizations engage diverse audiences around sensitive and often complex subject matter. I’ve worked with small businesses, nonprofit organizations and community foundations, major health institutions, policy firms, grassroots campaigns, and arts organizations.
I direct communications programs that merge creative storytelling with strategic impact and bring creativity, clarity, empathy, and enthusiasm to every project.
I’m from New Haven, CT and am based in the Philadelphia suburbs where you can find me caring for my vegetable garden, reading books to my young children, filling sketchpads with watercolors, and trying to read the Times before a new one arrives at my stoop.
